The founders of Good to Great Tennis Academy are Magnus Norman, Nicklas Kulti and Mikael Tillström. Besides the burning passion for tennis and player development, we have one thing in common – we have all taken the step from good tennis players to world class professionals. We have all won the Davis Cup for Sweden and have been ranked among the best in the world.

WHAT IS GTG?

Good to Great Tennis Academy is a boutique tennis academy with a limited number of spots available. The player-coach ratio is maximun 3-1 and we put a lot of time into the personal touch. We focus on quality. We currently have 11 fulltime coaches working with our players as well as a performance team. Our goal at Good to Great Tennis Academy is to be an outstanding base for player development where all players have the maximum possibilities to reach their full potential. Our vision is also to build our own world class facilities in the near future so that we can offer this possibility to more players. Good to Great Tennis Academy has created a model of modern player development that the training is based upon. The academy is also resting on our own guidelines that we call:

CARE: Concentration – Attitude – Respect – Energy

We want this guidelines to be inforced in all our activities.

According to us, being successful in sports is a way of life – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Respect and energy is key words for us. And it must exist at everyone involved: coaches, parents, other relatives and above all – the player himself/herself. We will strive to give all players the necessary tools to develop their tennis game, but it’s still up to the player to take the final step.
